Trophies of the Week
Global takeaways
Nobody is mathematically clinched or eliminated.
Every team still has a path to the playoffs.
The magic number is basically:
9+ wins = 100% in (no way to miss top 4 with 9–5 or better).
8 or fewer wins = still some scenario where you miss via a big tie.
So 9 is the only truly safe record; everything else needs at least a little help.
Team-by-team outlook
Remaining:
vs Naberhood
vs Junkyard
vs Your Dad’s Fantasy
Final record range: 8–6 to 11–3
If they go…
3–0 (11–3): Locked #1 seed.
2–1 (10–4): Seed 1–2.
1–2 (9–5): Seed 1–3 – clinched playoffs at 9–5.
0–3 (8–6): Seed can be anywhere from 1st to 5th.
There is a crazy 5-way 8–6 scenario where they could fall to 5th and miss with awful tiebreaks, but that’s the only way they’re out.
Summary: One more win almost surely locks them; two more wins basically guarantee a 1-2 seed.
Remaining:
@ Commies
vs Your Dad’s Fantasy
@ Pooper Butt
Final record range: 7–7 to 10–4
If they go…
3–0 (10–4): Seed 1–2.
2–1 (9–5): Seed 1–3, clinched.
1–2 (8–6): Seed 1–5 – usually in, but multi-team 8-win tie can push them to 5th.
0–3 (7–7): Seed 2–7 – can still make it, but could also whiff if the entire middle wins.
Summary: Very strong position; one win keeps them heavily favored, two wins clinch.
Remaining:
vs Team Caspa1
@ Naberhood Watch
vs The Commies Agenda
Final record range: 6–8 to 9–5
If they go…
3–0 (9–5): Seed 1–3, clinched playoffs.
2–1 (8–6): Seed 1–5 – likely in, but could miss in a big 8-win knot.
1–2 (7–7): Seed 2–7 – still a live playoff shot, but needs help.
0–3 (6–8): Seed 4–8 – there are scenarios where 6–8 sneaks in as the 4-seed, but they need a lot of chaos.
Summary: Win 2 of 3 and the Dads almost certainly dancing; win out and it’s probably a top-2 seed.
Remaining:
@ Seatards
vs Team Caspa1
vs Naberhood Watch
Final record range: 6–8 to 9–5
If they go…
3–0 (9–5): Seed 1–3, clinched.
2–1 (8–6): Seed 1–5 – strong position but not airtight.
1–2 (7–7): Seed 2–7 – bubble.
0–3 (6–8): Seed 4–8 – slim path, needs massive help.
Summary: Basically, the mirror of Your Dad’s Fantasy. The Week 12 game vs @The Seatards and Week 14 vs @Naberhood Watch are huge swing games.
Remaining:
vs Pooper Butt
@ LilBadBois
@ Junkyard Jamboree
Final record range: 5–9 to 8–6
If they go…
3–0 (8–6): Seed 1–5 – could be anywhere from #1 in total chaos to barely missing in an 8-win pile-up.
2–1 (7–7): Seed 2–7 – right in the giant middle.
1–2 (6–8): Seed 4–8 – needing help.
0–3 (5–9): Effectively toast.
Summary: Still very live. @Pooper Butt + @The LilBadBois back-to-back is basically their whole season.
Remaining:
@ Junkyard Jamboree
vs Seatards
@ Team Caspa1
Final record range: 5–9 to 8–6
If they go…
3–0 (8–6): Seed 1–5 (same chaos zone as Seatards).
2–1 (7–7): Seed 2–7.
1–2 (6–8): Seed 4–8.
0–3 (5–9): Basically out.
Summary: Total chaos hub. Their games vs @The Junkyard Jamboree and @The Seatards decide a huge chunk of the bubble.
Remaining:
@ Your Dad’s Fantasy
@ Pooper Butt
vs LilBadBois
Final record range: 4–10 to 7–7
If they go…
3–0 (7–7): Seed 2–7 – right in the tie-fest; could easily make it or miss on tiebreaks.
2–1 (6–8): Seed 4–8 – long-shot bubble scenario.
1–2 (5–9): Seed 6–8 – effectively eliminated.
0–3 (4–10): Dead last.
Summary: Needs to beat at least two of @Your Dad's Fantasy / @Pooper Butt / @The LilBadBois just to stay alive; 7–7 gives a fighting chance, but nothing is guaranteed.
Remaining:
vs LilBadBois
@ The Commies Agenda
vs The Seatards
Final record range: 3–11 to 6–8
If they go…
3–0 (6–8): Seed 4–8 – this is the “miracle path” we talked about earlier:
They must win out and
Need Seatards / LilBad / Caspa to rack up losses so 5–9 or 4–10 cluster under them, and Pooper to stumble into the 6–8 mess as well.
2–1 or worse (5–9 or below): Eliminated.
Summary: Only path is win out + hope for a collapse from the middle tier, with favorable tiebreaks.
Simple rules of thumb 🤔
9–5 or better
Any team that can reach 9 wins is mathematically locked in the playoffs.
8–6
Great position but not guaranteed; there are valid schedules that create a 5-team 8–6 tie where one 8-win team gets squeezed out.
7–7
Pure chaos tier – could be anywhere from #2 to #7 depending on who else gets to 7/8 wins and how PF looks.
6–8
Only works if there’s a massive pile-up of mediocrity and you win tiebreaks. We’ll call this 😎 The Junkyard Zone 😎
